- Covered all relevant knowledge pertaining to Part 107 license test.
- Learned the history of RPA and current uses in the industry.

Flight Science I
- Private Pilot ground school
- Dived into all knowledge needed for the PPL knowledge test and flight training
- Motivated me to pursue my pilot’s license
Remotely Piloted Aircraft Operations
- Hands-on UAS operations using an eFlite PA-18 Super Cub RC plane
- Completed NIST training course
- Covered sensors, ground stations, control systems, radio communication
Computer Science I
- Introduction to programming in C++ and MATLAB
- Built foundational logic skills transferable to autopilots and embedded systems
Summer 2025
Aviation Law
- Explored aviation law including insurance, NTSB, titles, and regulatory framework.
Fall 2025
Aviation Safety Factors
- Studied safety reporting systems used in aviation
- Learned how to build and maintain a strong safety culture
- Examined accident prevention strategies and human factors
UAS Flight Control Systems
- Deep dive into command and control links inlcuding transmission, reception, communication links, and ground station hardware
- Developed an understanding of the structure within a flight control board with respect to IMU, feedforward control, and Kalman Filters
- Experience flying a G25 aircraft in a team environment requiring crew resource management
Computer Science II
- Learned object-oriented programming (Java) including classes, inheritence, and interfaces
- Developed skills in data structure such as arrays and lists
- Strengthened my understanding of how programming concepts translate to autonomous systems
Spring 2026
Introduction to Aircraft Engines
- Introduced to the fundamentals of reciprocating and turbine aircraft engines
- Applied mathematical formulas to identify efficiency in different powerplants
- Gained insight into how engine design influences reliability, fuel burn, and operational performance
UAS Safety Officer
- Applied principles of aviation safety management to a flight test research team
- Reviewed and developed operational procedures for safe UAS handling and maintenance
- Gained experience coordinating within a diverse team to maintain safe operations
